Job Description:

The Post-Sales Support Manager position leads an established team of Tier 2-3 Support Technicians in a rapidly growing field. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to be highly technical and possess direct leadership skills to manage the team effectively and efficiently. The role requires continuous multi-tasking and focus to maintain continuity and efficient customer care. This role coordinates maintenance contracts for multiple federal, state, tribal agencies, and private utilities across a broad spatial scope. This position will also work closely with the multiple sales teams, production staff, and customers to coordinate delivery, installation and maintenance of equipment for the Biomark, AGO and Vaki brands.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of an interdisciplinary team of Technicians.

  • Management of annual sales budget/targets.

  • Coordination and implementation of maintenance contracts with Key Accounts.

  • Coordination of team activities and travel.

  • Identification and application of new training modules for the internal and external teams.

  • Installation and maintenance of our Company's Animal Healt Aqua technology systems.

  • Remote monitoring and diagnosis of systems.

  • Integration of systems or components into new and existing projects.

  • Product testing and development guidance to Project Sales and Production departments.

  • Project coordination with state, federal, tribal, and private entities.

  • Development of annual technical and final project reports.

  • Demonstrated safe driver.

  • Desire to learn new skills and continually improve processes.

  • Identification of value add and new technology development opportunities.

Scope & Context:

  • This position is a First-Line Manager of the Post-Sales Support team reporting to the Aqua NORAM Associate Sales Director.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, natural resources, forestry, fisheries.

In lieu of degree equivalent experience as a technician utilizing modern technology in a resource management environment.

  • Experience can include data analysis, animal tagging/tracking, technology installation, technology repair, etc.

  • High degree of proficiency with technical/electronic devices.

  • Minimum of one-year intense experience managing projects and/or teams in a technology heavy Natural Resource environment.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High proficiency with computers, operating systems, networks, and a wide array of electronic devices.

  • Knowledge of RFID, IOT, M2M systems and principals.

  • The ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to problem solve on-the-fly.

  • Strong desire to learn new skills and continually improve processes within the team setting.

  • Ability to lead a fast paced, growing team in a developing industry.

  • Results oriented and able to work independently with modest direct supervision.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% within the US and Canada.

  • Possess a valid driver license and passport.
