You will assume overall technical responsibility for the success of solution construction, implementation and system integration in a technology, industry or business specialty mainly as a service engagement. You support and deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements. You utilize in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to support clients. You will have deep skill and hands on skills in the following subject matter areas:You should be fully conversant with AIX and LINUX software, and ideally skills in SAP HANA, Power VC, Linux on Power, Power cloud and Power AI. Most importantly you must want to practice technical consulting and know how explore customers issues and challenges around their IT Infrastructure and how we in Lab Services can help them with their IT strategy by assisting them to resolve their immediate problems and helping them to realise their strategic goals.IBM is driving new technology solutions based on Systems key plays such as Hybrid Cloud Deployment with Power Systems, Application Modernization with the Red Hat stack on IBM Power Systems, and Expanding SAP by embracing Hybrid Cloud on Power Systems as those are the strategic directions our clients are pursuing and the candidate must understand these new emerging solutions and be able to translate these into IT solutions that will help them achieve their business goals.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseWe are looking for a professional with at least 6 to 7 years of experience and :+ Previous hands-on experience (Skill Level 4) with IBM Power Hardware and Software (like Power7,8 & 9, AIX, Linux on Power, Power VC, Power AI, SAP HANA).+ Experience :+ within Offering management and dealing with Customers+ with Project Management techniques, architectural thinking and be able to lead technical services & project teams.+ Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills allowing management of critical situations, often in inter-cultural environments through the medium of English language+ Fluent in English and German (French, Italian an advantage)Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise-About Business UnitIBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
