The Leidos Defense Group currently has an opening for a Mid-Level Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Planner at Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE) VA. This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Command’s (ACC) ISR mission

Primary Responsibilities

Experienced ISR Analyst will provide Air Force (AF) senior leaders with recommendations regarding ISR planning, deployment, operations, and integration of advanced technologies and capabilities into Joint warfighting constructs. Applicants will make analytical judgments relative to ISR mission area operations, AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Mission Management Team (MMT) and Analysis Exploitation Team (AET) production and organizational liaisons and Combatant Command Operations Plans (OPLAN). They will provide strategic analysis of current and future AF DCGS operations; senior AF leader decision-quality inputs regarding AF DCGS mission / force optimization, Global Force Management Plans (GFMAP) and Task Orders; and develop / present senior leader correspondence and presentation materials. The applicant will conduct JIRA process management and maintain Confluence web pages. Applicants must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills; capable of critical thinking at the operational, theater and strategic levels; practice multiple structured analytical techniques; and be capable of working independently or in collaboration with multiple organizational representatives to develop strategies and solutions to complex operational and technical ISR issues. Applicants will be proficient in JIRA Data Base, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite and possess working knowledge of the GFMAP, AF DCGS Enterprise regional alignment, and Intelligence Community Standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of Air Force multi-ISR discipline experience OR an Associates and 10 year’s operational ISR experience is required.
  • ISR experience at AF Wing level or above is required.
  • TS/SCI eligibility on date of hire is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Internal/External Intelligence Community and Numbered Air Force coordination is desired.
  • AF-DCGS experience is required and Intelligence Community experience is highly desired.
