What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a skilled professional to join the Verizon Ethics team as an Ethics Consultant. We are looking for a candidate with excellent judgment and people skills who is interested in taking on a wide variety of projects and working at a fast pace, both independently and as a collegial team member.

  • Creating content and managing special projects and programs, including the design and execution of Ethics outreach, trainings, and communications.
  • Developing and analyzing Ethics contact data to facilitate organization strategy and provide actionable insights to the business leadership.
  • Providing support to Ethics Officers to develop and administer advice and guidance to employees in response to questions about Verizon’s Code of Conduct and Credo standards, and ensuring frictionless case process flows and timely case closures.
  • Managing Verizon’s annual Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (COIQ), including its move to a new technical platform, and reviewing and resolving submissions to ensure that all actual or potential conflicts are properly assessed.
  • Tracking open matters, communications output, trainings, and presentations.
  • Managing the launch and review of Verizon’s annual Contracting Entity Officer Diligence Questionnaire.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager. This position can be located in any Verizon domestic location.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience crafting creative and engaging presentation materials, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience developing, leading, managing and implementing projects.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including providing coverage for investigations worldwide.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Proven oral, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of business clients including senior leaders.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Experience with work responsibilities that included handling confidential and sensitive information.
