En Eaton (Las Piedras PR) tenemos la vacante Tool & Die Maker I. Este role tiene las siguientes responsabilidades:

DESCRIPCION GENERAL DEL PUESTO

Planificar, organizar y construir fixtures, moldes y componentes a una tolerancia bien precisa usando herramientas de precisión y maquinaria relacionada.

COMPETENCIAS DEL PUESTO

  1. Reparar y reconstruir componentes de herramientas.
  2. Ejecutar mantenimiento preventivo a herramientas.
  3. Trabajar con dibujos e instrucciones verbales o escritas bajo mínima supervisión o asistencia de compañeros de nivel II y III.
  4. Destrezas manuales, leer planos y conocimientos de matemáticas relacionadas.
  5. Usar dibujos para fabricar todo tipo de pieza de metal u otro material usando maquinaria relacionada como “milling”; torno; etc.
  6. Hacer los “setups” y operar máquinas de precisión.
  7. Determinar qué herramientas y métodos necesita para realizar su trabajo.
  8. Realizar otras tareas asignadas de acuerdo al puesto.

RESPONSABILIDADES ESPECIALES

  1. Notificar necesidad de arreglos o cambios substanciales en la operación.
  2. Alertar deficiencia o condición que pueda afectar la calidad del producto.
  3. Hacer movimiento de materiales con “carrito” manual o esfuerzo físico.
  4. Responsable de equipos, limpieza, organización y materiales en el área de trabajo.
  5. Mantener consistencia en volúmenes de producción – eficiencia
  6. Mantener consistencia en producción libre de errores
  7. Mantener las máquinas y el área de trabajo limpias.

ROLES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESPECIALES

  1. Ejecutar las tareas de acuerdo a las Políticas y Procedimientos de Seguridad y Ambiente de la planta; previniendo la contaminación ambiental, observando que las reglas de seguridad sean cumplidas por usted y otros, cuidando y utilizando correctamente el equipo de seguridad en las tareas requeridas y contribuyendo con sus ideas a mejorar la salud y seguridad de todos en la planta.
  2. Tener buena asistencia y puntualidad, cumpliendo con las disposiciones del Programa para el Control de Ausentismo.
  3. Ejercer su función de acuerdo al adiestramiento recibido, incluyendo JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
  4. Uso y cuidado de equipo de protección personal.
  5. Actuar y velar por su seguridad y la de sus compañeros
  6. Reportar cualquier condición insegura a su supervisor y/o Oficial de Seguridad.
  7. Estar atento a la prevención de accidente en su área de trabajo.
  8. Completar el trabajo de acuerdo a marco de referencia de Calidad
  9. Reconocer que tiene la obligación de detener trabajos o apagar equipos si la Calidad del producto es afectada durante cualquier proceso.
  10. Entender las reglas generales del Sistema de Gerenciamiento de Calidad y los procedimientos de la facilidad.
  11. Participar en actividades de resolución de problemas y mejoras continua según requerido.

EQUIPO, MATERIALES, MAQUINAS Y HERRAMIENTAS

  • Equipo de medición (caliper, micrómetro, cinta métrica, “shadowgraph”, otros).
  • Equipo de seguridad (“ear plug, zapatos de seguridad, guantes, gafas de seguridad, otros).
  • Máquinas de precisión (tornos, fresadoras, rectificadoras)

Qualifications

REQUISITOS DEL PUESTO

Educación: Grado Asociado/ Técnico en Troquelería de Institución Académica aprobada

Experiencia: Mínimo un (1) año de experiencia relacionada.

Disponibilidad para trabajar el 3er Turno.
