What you’ll be doing...

You will be leading programs broadly in the areas of machine to machine connectivity, IOT solutions, Fixed Wireless Access for 5G and additional services overlaid on top in areas including security, portals, network offerings. You will be responsible for architecting the system design, detailing the call flows, authoring requirements for development teams and ensuring the solution developed is built as per the system design. You will apply your experience and knowledge of LTE & 5G network infrastructure to lead these efforts. You will work on generating the HLDs (high level designs) for network connectivity between data center elements and have a good understanding of the configurations of various network components such as firewalls, VPNs, etc. You will also manage and lead an IoT development lab working with cross-functional teams to test, build, and maintain IOT Solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Providingleadership and bringing clarity and direction to projects.
• Able to provide knowledgein a broad set of technologies and have deep insights in some areas of the system.
• Working cross functionally with various stakeholders in Business, IT, Network, Security and Development teams to understand the solution needs and articulate the various dependencies in the system.
• Excibiting excellent soft skills in working with other engineering and analytical teams to arrive at optimal solutions to technical and business challenges.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

• Cloud certifications from any of the cloud providers.
• Familiarity with GSMA standards and knowledge of Edge computing architectures and technologies (MEC).
• Knowledge of network protocols used in IoT, M2M device communication (MQTT, COAP AMQP, etc.)
• Knowledge of network security tools, protocols and authorization/authentication mechanisms (TLS/SSL,OAuth2, etc.)
• Experience with both virtual and containerized computing environments (VMware)
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification and/or experience building Red Hat applications.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or switching and routing experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Juniper SRX Firewalls
• Technical and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot end to end systems.
• Have a good understanding of wireless network control technology, including session control, QoS and network slicing,traffic control and usage control.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP API/Web services.
• Strong knowledge of OSI Layer 7 Model, Network Architecture and Network Topology.
• Conceptual understanding of IP networking (L2-L4) including router, switch, load-balancing and firewalls.
• Knowledge of IP network services, protocols, and network services (HTTP, Websocket, DNS)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, etc. to exercise various APIs.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Confluence, Jira, etc.
