What you’ll be doing...

You'll be responsible for the planning and execution of Verizon’s B2B connected laptop portfolio marketing. Your primary task will be managing multiple OEMs’ joint marketing budgets, campaigns, and associated initiatives. You will partner hand-in-hand with Verizon marketing, branding, legal, and sales teams to ensure Verizon’s network and sales goals are met.

  • Working closely with the device OEMs, chipset vendors and OS/platform vendors to market solutions aligned with Verizon Business Group strategic objectives.
  • Managing marketing partnerships with mobile compute device vendors to drive business device, product and sales needs.
  • Collaborating with external vendors to support joint marketing efforts which include social media, events, seminars, sales training, etc.
  • Defining key customer benefits, product use cases, and customer experience training for connected laptops in business segments, including Enterprise, Small Business, and Public Sector.
  • Supporting Verizon and OEM sales partners with joint customer negotiations.
  • Managing Joint Marketing Fund (JMF) spending and requests.
  • Driving 5G into the mobile compute ecosystem.
  • Performing analysis of launched marketing initiatives.
  • Developing executive presentations for stakeholder communications on strategic initiatives progress, risks and launch performance.

What we’re looking for...

You have a passion for marketing and wireless business solutions. You are not afraid of a challenge, and will work to find solutions to difficult problems. You have a proven track record of collaboration, and embrace the opportunity to take ownership over your work.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in the telecommunications, sales, or marketing field.
  • Experience in product marketing including sales marketing - ideally in wireless industries.
  • Experience translating market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the business.
  • Experience with connected laptops, in a sales or marketing capacity.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Strong working knowledge on 5G Technology / Wireless Technologies / Mobile Compute Devices (Laptops / Tablets).
  • Ability to translate technical topics into customer-facing solutions and training.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience outlining issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
  • Problem solving and organization skills.
