What you’ll be doing...

The primary purpose of the role is to oversee the planning and execution of several Verizon partners' Joint GTM (co-innovation) projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion. The role will be responsible for both the partner strategy and partner sales enablement activities. This role will manage 10+ projects simultaneously.

  • Defining and communicating objectives, critical milestones, and timelines for each project.
  • Identifying and engaging the correct resources to deliver the project outcomes.
  • Creating clear and accurate project management plan and executive summary of all projects.
  • Managing project schedule and working plan and identifying any activities or projects at risk of success.
  • Providing project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Determining and defining project scope and objectives.
  • Model the Verizon Leadership Principles and create an outstanding growth culture for the team.

Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

A detail-oriented person with organizational and communication skills is foundational to the role. This is primarily an internal and partner-facing role, and as such you will require excellent relationship management skills and a proven track record in influencing stakeholders to meet timelines and delivery expectations.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing projects successfully.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree (ideally, in project management).
  • Experience managing projects with PMI or MSP methodologies.
  • Certification in PMP and/or MSP.
  • Practical knowledge of PPM tools.
  • The ability to motivate and influence teams to deliver outcomes and results.
  • The ability to solve complex problems creatively.
  • The ability to manage SI and ISV partner projects leading to sales funnel development.
  • The ability to prepare and deliver presentations with impact to align working team and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills (e.g., managing multiple projects simultaneously, attending status meetings, following-up with stakeholders, generating up to date reporting).
  • The ability to collaborate and influence across all levels and teams including strategy, product, sales, and marketing.
  • An understanding of or the ability to quickly learn the following:
  • Business Development Sales Funnel Process
  • Verizon Product enabling products functionality: Private Networks, 5G, NaaS
  • The ability to create partnership value propositions, taking a strategic approach.
