Sales Operation Manager Germany (m/f/d)Location: Home-Office in GermanyPrimary function is to enable sales zone profitable organic revenue growth through successful adoption of technology, process & sales strategies that match & support the overall growth goals of the Operating Zone. Lead work process improvements to standardise & purify job roles within the Zone to enable frictionless selling & customer-buying experiences. The applicant should be the ambassador of how our business (should) works and ensure that all functions are aligned to the same outcomes (sales, sales enablement, marketing, customer services, analytics, Business Units, sales support, HR, IT).The role requires high levels of IT literacy, analytical & strategic thinking capabilities, able to identify measures & indicators that drive performance improvement, sponsor the build of relevant analyses/dashboards, and then articulate those insights to the Zone and to govern initiatives to continuously improve our business. He/She will also be the primary sponsor and adoption driver for standard business cadence, core sales tools (CPQ, Sales Enablement, CRM), strategy development, selling methodologies and sales training.The role will as well be responsible for the project management of the change projects that lead to the transformation of the Operating Zone in line with sales operations targets.Your Key DeliverablesEnablement & Training+ Sponsor & govern adoption of core technologies required to run the sales business CRM/PRM, Sales Enablement Tools (BTC, Zunos), quotation tools (CPQ, BidMan) & analytics+ Sponsor & govern processes & competency learning to successfully manage the top-to-bottom customer journey through our selling cycle from inbound leads & first-contact through to a successful outcome+ Strong collaboration with HR & Sales Training functionOperational performance, reviews & governance+ Contribute to the definition & deployment of an EMEA standard operating & go-to-market strategy / structure+ Contribute to the definition & deployment of an EMEA standard operating cadence for each sales unit+ Sales Operational Reviews and participation in Sales Ops Community of PractiseData quality & analytics+ Lead for Zone master data quality across all platforms and data types+ Be the owner for CRM data qualityVision & Strategy+ Collaborate with functional teams for territory planning, role design, account planning, customer-ecosystem management & go-to-market strategy, thereafter be the lead for reporting & insight to support improved outcomes.+ Be the leader for improving productivity (sales per person) through organisational design, process improvements, adoption of sales training competencies & elimination/lean of non-value-add activitiesAre you? QualificationsRequired+ Master degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering with software / IT / computer science specialization or Business Administration with a preferably technical backround+ Strong proven experience in sales or sales-support leadership roles in electrical engineering/sales and in project management+ Experience in leading highly engaged teams as well as in defining and executing successful sales and go to market strategies, as well as analytical and conceptional thinking+ Knowledge in product lines of Eaton Electrical segments and market would be a plus+ Several years of sales experience, preferably as a leader of people+ MS-Office, SAP, CRM Siebel knowledge and open to new software.+ Flexibility & willingness to travel+ Fluent in German and English+ Strong knowledge and experience with typical go-to-market strategies for direct and indirect busines+ Excellent knowledge of sales opeartions and sales support functions+ Time management, presentation/training skills, planning skills, project management skills & tools, leadership experience+ Strong analytical skills and experience with project work and transformation+ Fluent in German and EnglishThen we want to hear about you!What Eaton offers+ Inclusion & Diversity - Openness to diversity widens our access to the best talent.
