The Senior Manager, Sales Compensation position will lead and provide overall direction for North American Sales rep commissions, territory alignment, compensation plan development and sales promotions. The role will be expected to set direction and lead the daily maintenance and administration of the national Commissions tool/system for our Emergency Care, Acute Care and ProCare businesses. This person will also be responsible for leading our Sales Compensation team.

What you will do:

  • Lead the evaluation and documentation of key financial process and system related financial statement risks
  • Manage and lead Sales Compensation analysts by driving Stryker's Talent Offense of attracting, developing, engaging and aligning talent to deliver results
  • Present to Senior Leadership on regular Commissions Audit and Compliance updates
  • Partner with various business leaders and advise on process improvement simplify Sales Commissions process
  • Establish effective and performance-based commission plans in collaboration with Senior Sales Directors
  • Lead implementation of annual quota development and territory alignment
  • Work with FP&A team to provide monthly commissions dashboard for flux/mix analysis
  • Partner with FP&A team to provide input on annual budget and monthly projections around commission expense, sales salaries, and annual bonus accruals

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, Finance, Data Management, Computer Information Systems or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with SAP Commission/Callidus and PowerBi
  • People management or leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates unquestionable integrity professionalism
  • Positive attitude, desire to learn, self-motivated and an effective team player
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and promote customer focused solutions
  • Highly proficient in computer skills including proficiency with PowerBi, Callidus/SAP Commissions, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and flow charting/process mapping applications
  • A demonstrated propensity for training others
  • Ability to quickly understand and assess complex business processes and identify accounting/compliance issues
  • Must enjoy experiencing new things and learning different aspects of Stryker’s business
  • Expresses a “can do” attitude and is comfortable driving process improvements and change

$107,300 - $228,200 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
