Eaton’s Electronics Division (ELXD) is currently seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager. This position can be based remotely in the Bay Area or in Seattle, WA. It can also be based at our Pleasanton, CA location. Relocation is not provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $128076.75 - $187845.9 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales of electronics products, magnetics products for computing applications including fast growing AI acceleration cards and power modules for GPUs power. This individual will be responsible for penetrating the market, building relationships with key customers, and driving sales growth in the United States and the Asia-Pacific region. This role will require approximately 50% travel within the US territory listed above.

  • Identify and Capitalize on Sales Opportunities: Proactively seek out and evaluate sales opportunities for Eaton Electronics' magnetics inductors within the AI acceleration card and power module sectors.
  • Cultivate Key Customer Relationships: Foster strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers such as NVIDIA and other industry leaders to ensure preference and loyalty.
  • Conduct Market Intelligence Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to gain insights into customer preferences, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, utilizing this data to refine sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee product excellence, timely delivery, and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Expand Market Presence: Leverage existing customer relationships and industry expertise to penetrate untapped markets and enhance Eaton's market presence.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Teams: Work in tandem with marketing and product teams to conceptualize and execute targeted sales campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Manage Sales Pipeline and Achieve Targets: Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and monitor progress to ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are met.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience or technical background in the field of electronics components for power management integrated circuits (PMIC)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Relocation is not provided. Candidates must currently reside in one of the job locations offered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the magnetics inductor market, including competitors such as Delta and Cyntec
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Basic understanding on power magnetics and power electronics technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively present product features and benefits to diverse customer audiences
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to meet with customers and industry partners
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Experience working with NVIDIA or other key customers in the AI acceleration space
  • Knowledge of the electronics supply chain and distribution channels
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Chinese spoken in the target market) preferred but not required
