Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Flex Sales Manager to join our team in Cleveland, TN

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $154,000 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Flex Sales Manager develops plans, organizes, implements and reports sales, marketing and training activities for safety switch Flex products in order to exceed assigned sales volume and price realization objectives in a profitable manner. Works in collaboration with the Cleveland, TN plant to ensure flex products are produced in an efficient manner and facilitates the operational objectives of the CTN Flex Center.


  • Plan and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote product line and Flex Center values to end customer vertical segments, Channel Partners, and North American Sales
  • Execute Sales plan tasks and follow up on specific sales activities to achieve sales goals
  • Make sales calls to distributors and customers to promote products and custom offerings based on customer needs
  • Maintain effective communication channels with customers and sales personnel.
  • Negotiate business with customers consistent with plant volume and profit objectives. Flex Center manager is responsible for Flex Center P&L.
  • Coordinate special customer requirements with plant resources. Identify and quantify new product opportunities for product line roadmap.
  • Train Eaton and distributor sales forces on products and capabilities.
  • Become a product expert for safety switches, Flex Center, rotary switches and Pringle switches including a working knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards including NEC, UL98, UL977, UL508, UL508A & UL1741
  • Develop relationships with customers, distributors and Eaton sales personnel in the assigned territory.
  • Recommend and implement changes in procedures, policies, and methods that increase level of Customer Service and/or reduce costs.
  • Develop pricing strategies for Flex Center, manage pricing guidelines for the products including pricing increases.
  • Help develop pricing, sales and channel strategies to increase market share in low share areas
  • Collaborate with and support the goals of other product lines within CDPA to strengthen the team
  • Increase Organization Capability by managing staff, including goal setting, development plans, performance reviews, coaching and counseling.
  • Drive high levels of customer service through response levels of the 800 number and flex inbox.
  • Provide Sales and Price reports as required to Product Line and Division Management
  • Collaborate with CTN operations to ensure flex products are produced efficiently with special attention to on time performance and quality.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience in outside field sales/commercial experience with electrical channel, contractors, and end users
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or engineering from an accredited institution
  • Prior experience in the electrical power distribution industry
