If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThis Enterprise Sales Representative (ESR) role reports to WW Sales Leadership. You will need a background selling Application Performance Management or Observability solutions and will be responsible for the coordination and successful execution of all assigned sales related activities within an assigned territory or set of accounts to achieve assigned financial sales objectives. This role has unlimited potential and is highly focused on the development of a territory while expanding IBM's cloud software & services into associated industries, as defined.Activities include working with and leveraging other IBM client facing teams to create demand, identify opportunities, qualify opportunities, and then directly executing high quality professional engagements that result in winning opportunities that achieve assigned targets while providing high value customer solutions. Seller will represent part of the IBM Cloud software portfolio focused around IBM Instana.**Attributes:**+ Skilled in consultative selling, with an understanding of the client's needs and IBM's capabilities+ Demonstrated level of business acumen as it applies to the client's business and an ability to articulate business value to different target audiences (Developer, IT Operation Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, CxO)+ Commercially minded and capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements with the ability to think, plan and act strategically+ Extensive networking and interpersonal skills in complex environments+ Ability to collaborate with teams within IBM and partners externally+ Ability to work in complex, matrix managed organizational environments+ Creative problem solver and open to change+ Self-starter with eagerness to seek and build new skillsRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ 3+ Years direct, face to face selling experience with cloud software or SaaS solutions into development or IT organizations+ 2+ years selling APM or Observability solutions from one of the key vendors on the market today (e.g. Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, App Dynamics, Splunk, ... )+ Understanding of AIOPs concepts and key market solutions will be a plus+ Working knowledge of IT Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, and DevSecOps+ Ideal candidates should have a passion for cloud technologies, solving customer problems, and winning every time at everything+ Knowledge of territory and accounts within assigned territory+ Excellent qualifying, presentation and closing skills+ Demonstrated ability to manage forecast and proven track record of surpassing quotaPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseNANoneAbout Business UnitIBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
