Join us and help reimagine medicine!<br><br>Job Purpose: <br>The Dermatology Sales Specialist will be responsible for covering a large territory and will focus on a defined target list of physicians/practitioners within the territory. The Dermatology Sales Specialist must be able to develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the Dermatology community, while driving disease awareness, initiation, and usage of Novartis Dermatology products. The Sales Specialist will initiate and support programs that make a difference to the lives of the patients we serve.<br><br>This is a remote position that will support key accounts in an assigned region. Candidate must reside within territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from territory boarder. Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography is required, with the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory. No relocation assistance available. Must have a valid driver’s license.<br><br>Your Key Responsibilities: <br>• Build disease awareness with key partners, validated understanding of treatment initiation processes, and patient identification. <br>• Collaborate with partners, internally and externally, on prior authorization, payor restrictions, reimbursement stipulations, and patient referrals to support patient access.<br>• Manage sales budgets and grow the Dermatology sales portfolio across the territory through development of impactful territory planning and engaging communications. <br>• Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks.<br>• Grow relationships and communications with all partners and communities to develop solid understanding of treatment algorithm and business dynamics within accounts. <br>• Implement compliant and medically relevant programs to effect significant customer satisfaction and sales.<br><br>COVID-19 Vaccine Policy (customer-facing roles only): While Novartis does not require vaccination for COVID-19 or proof of a recent negative test result for COVID-19 at this time, employees working in customer-facing roles must adhere to and comply with customers’ (such as hospitals, physician offices, etc.) credentialing guidelines, which may require vaccination. Please send accommodation requests to<br><br>Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: Sales Specialist: $92,800 and $139,200/year | Senior Sales Specialist: $112,800 and $169,200/year | Executive Sales Specialist: $124,000 and $186,000/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
