Join us and help reimagine medicine!<br><br>Job Purpose: <br>The Sales Specialist is accountable for implementing the sales strategies for Novartis Ophthalmology products consistent with Novartis’ compliance standards, as well as all applicable legal requirements for those key-targeted Health Care Providers (HCP’s) within an assigned territory. The Sales Specialist will pull-through access and drive utilization for approved Novartis Ophthalmology products with appropriate patients.<br><br>This is a remote opportunity for those residing within the territory.<br><br>Your Key Responsibilities:<br>• Builds and develops professional relationships with (but not limited to) key providers including Ophthalmologist, Optometrists, office personnel and Pharmacy Staff within assigned customers. <br>• Drives appropriate utilization of approved products. The Sales Specialist works closely with other Novartis Commercial Associates to generate pull-through within local payers, community HCP’s and Systems of Care.<br>• Demonstrates expertise and knowledge of disease state, the marketplace, applicable competitors, industry, and cross-functional activities. Plans to anticipate and optimally lead business opportunities and challenges.<br>• Provides relevant and thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues (e.g., Sales Leadership, Account Specialist and USMM) regarding strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region.<br>• Develops and implements effective customer specific territory plans. Anticipates potential barriers to achievement of goals and proposes solutions for success. Please send accommodation requests to<br><br>Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: Sales Specialist: $97,600 and $146,400/year | Senior Sales Specialist: $118,400 and $177,600/year | Executive Sales Specialist: $130,400 and $195,600/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
