Start your journey now!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Technical Sales Professional who will be a technical sales consultant to our clients and a technical sales leader for IBM sales teams and/or Business Partners. You will learn the client's business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape and apply your technical knowledge and experience to bring new solutions to your aligned clients. In addition, you will work as a team where your deep technical experience can be leveraged at clients to support client success.Additional responsibilities:+ Collaboration with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.+ Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts.+ Support technical escalations, designing solutions; and answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to progress/close sales and develop customer relationships.+ Maintain an understanding of the client's industry, including industry trends, industry business processes+ The successful candidate will be passionate about Cloud Platform Technologies (examples: Kubernetes, VMWare, Networking etc) and have or develop a strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. In addition, will work with, technical and sales management, Lab Services, and our Business Partner ecosystem.Competencies include:+ Proven relationship and organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple organizations.+ Ability to understand business problems, articulate a corresponding solution based on IBM software, build a value proposition, and establish a compelling reason to act.+ Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both written and verbally+ Understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market+ Unite to win" mentality and a sense of urgency+ This position will support clients across Canada but mainly within QuebecRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Technologies (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP)+ At least 5 years in a Technical Sales or Technical Consulting position with IBM tech+ At least 2 years Technical Sales experience with public cloud+ Fluently bilingual in English and FrenchPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Cloud based solution implementation or architecture is preferred+ Java, JavaScript, or scripting skills are highly desirable+ Experience in networking security preferred+ Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorshipAbout Business UnitIBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
