2022 South Area Sales Intern - Companion Animal

Job Description

The Companion Animal Summer Intern will be a field-based position located in Atlanta, GA, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, Houston, TX or Mobile, AL. The intern will serve as an Ambassador for some of our leading parasiticide products and new technologies in the companion animal market. This position will be a field-based sales role working closely with our sales and sales management teams.

The intern will provide added value to our company's customers in companion animal veterinary clinics. The intern will interact with customers to gain firsthand sales experience. The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the sales strategy across the region and territory via coordination and execution of sales support activities including: Face to Face calls, literature orders, and other administrative tasks to drive sales in the region.

As a Sales Intern in our Animal Health Division, you will be required to rent a car. Candidates must be 20 years of age or older at the start of the internship to meet the necessary criteria to obtain a rental car agreement through our rental car provider.

Required Education & Experience:

• Candidates must be enrolled in any bachelor’s degree program and completed at least 2 years of college course work by May 2022
• Candidate must be available for a period of 9-12 weeks beginning May 23rd, 2022
• Candidate must be able to Travel up to 25 – 50%

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Candidates must have excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
• Candidates must have general computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad.
• Candidate must have ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently.
