The future of transportation is electrified, and our new eMobility segment, which combines the strengths of our electrical and vehicle businesses, will deliver a wide range of solutions for on- and off-road electrified vehicles and help reduce the environmental impact of transportation around the world.This position leads Eatons eMobility product strategy, global sales growth and long-term product growth initiatives through broad collaboration with Eatons sales and product strategy teams. This includes building and executing on key and long-term product initiatives and roadmaps, and pursuit opportunities, as well as creating customer and sales strategies, processes and tools.Essential functions:+ Partners with Eaton's broader sales organizations to develop and drive execution of customer engagement strategies, or battle plans and achieves targeted commercial wins in accordance with eMobilitys strategic growth plans.+ Leads, mentors and measures the execution of the sales and customer engagement strategy, in partnership with Regional Sales Directors, and Electrical Sector Sales.+ Lead, develop, communicate and manage the product strategy, product roadmaps and pricing strategies in alignment with business strategies, and collaboration with cross-sector and organization product management organizations.+ Leads product management functions including market analysis, establishing product and associated service requirements, target segmentation, competitive analysis and industry trends.+ Functions as the key focal point for all strategic issues related to eMobility for the vehicle markets and leverages the diverse views, skills and capabilities of supporting functions (supply chain, plant operations, operational excellence, finance, human resource, engineering, IT) to develop and implement cohesive and timely actions+ Performs and critically assesses comparative performance.+ Provide investment recommendation to segment leadership team.+ Positions Eatons products relative to other offerings. Drives innovation throughout the organization, including opportunities for partnership.+ Manage products from inception to phase out, including product launch and support; and resolves problems with existing products working across cross-functional teams+ Leads the business's annual strategic planning process.Qualifications+ Minimum Bachelors, MBA preferred+ Experience in manufacturing and vehicle markets.+ Understanding of vehicle market and existing electrification efforts by competitors.+ Experience defining product requirements and strategic financial and quantitative analysis+ Experience in commercial leadership+ Experience in leading in a high matrix organization+ Experience in new product introductions, and development programs.+ Ability to influence the organization on the strategic direction of the business, and drive tangible and concrete actions to ensure progress.+ Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally.+ Demonstrated success in delivering results in a matrix environment+ Strong technical acumen, experience influence key customers, and partners.+ International experience, and working across cultures, and countries.+ Strong executive level presentation and communications skills+ Superior business acumen and analytical skills+ Managerial courage to influence and challenge the thinking of the organization.+ Showcase success as a growth champion and a trusted advisor to senior executives+ Superior English and German speaking skills; multi-lingual preferred.+ Must be able to travel to domestic and international locations up to 50% of the timeCandidate applying to the vacancy will be subject of the background screening. if applicableWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
