Job Description

Our Supply Chain team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging, and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the right place, and the right time.

The Lead Position is at our Animal Health Distribution facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This facility is the primary distribution site of our Company’s Animal Health products in the United States and exports to over 30 countries around the world.

Position Details

  • Motivate and lead a team of 10-12 warehouse/distribution employees.

  • Oversee the training of job duties, safety procedures and maintain team morale.

  • Implement and maintain procedures designed to control accurate physical inventories and the proper storage and handling of materials.

  • Coordinate team efforts to receive, store, and ship all materials using the SAP ATLAS operating system.

  • Monitor and enforce quality and productivity standards.

  • Lead and institute data-based process improvements.

  • Work closely with the leadership team on business strategy, cost containment and project management.

  • Ability to manage LTL, FTL, and small package shipping.

  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and SAP Atlas systems.

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred.

  • 3 years of experience in warehouse.

Skill Requirements

  • Self-starter able to work in teams or independently while meeting deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective and positive interpersonal, coaching, and listening skills.

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient with SAP/TMS systems.

  • Experience with international shipping procedures.

  • Project management and process improvement skills.

Hours:

Monday- Friday shift varies 7:30AM-4PM or 8:30AM-5PM some overtime required.
