Associate Director, Global Content Librarian
The Global Content Librarian role requires a detail-oriented person who has experience in library information science, metadata and classification of digital content and assets. The role will sit within the Global Integrated Marketing Team and report to the Executive Director, Global Integrated Marketing.
The Global Content Librarian will be responsible to manage the material approval and digital asset management system, Veeva PromoMats. The librarian will work with Global Marketing, Commercial, Legal and Compliance Teams across the organization to manage, govern, store, share, and re-use of content and assets. In addition, a key responsibility is to ensure compliance of our company's SOPs for Medical Legal Review and Digital Asset management, as well as copyright/licensing agreements with all assets stored in PromoMats.
Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere
Prioritize and execute PromoMats search requests and change requests from marketing teams
Evaluate metadata quality, taxonomy and classifications, system usability, and search results accuracy to enhance PromoMats capabilities
Support and develop skillset of PromoMats user community through ongoing training, communication, and other learning components
Oversee development of PromoMats brand portals
Track and report PromoMats system usage to benchmark productivity and target workflow gaps
Collaborate with IT and Digital Transformation Team to prepare PromoMats for content capabilities and system enhancements
Work with Global MLR Business Owner, Compliance Officers and other key functions to establish governance, and to revise and develop standard operating procedures
Bachelor’s degree, a degree in Library and Information Science is preferred.
A background in library science or experience with digital asset management, as well as experience with copyright management, is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with digital asset management systems preferred
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
Experience with Veeva PromoMats is preferred.
Experience with complex web-based applications and databases
Knowledge of media usage rights and licensing
Ability to operate independently while managing multiple projects
Experience working with print and/or multichannel production files
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including internal marketing teams and external agencies
Familiarity with promotional material review process for the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent verbal and written communication, accuracy, attention to detail
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within cross-functional teams
Digital Asset Management Certification a plus

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:$117,600.00 - $200,100.00
