Associate Director, Oncology Omnichannel Customer Analytics Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of fast-growing team in the Digital Analytics and Transformation Team. We are looking for an energetic, passionate and talented analyst who will be accountable for designing and developing customer centric and actionable analytics solutions by improving analytics operational efficiency and driving innovative analytics methodology development.

This gifted individual will be aligned to Oncology Business Units leading digital analytics projects to bring innovation and scalable solutions to the organization. You will have an opportunity to manage a part of the offshore teams and contractors, while interfacing and collaborating with many teams, so strong communication skills is a must.

Individual who will thrive in this role is motivated by developing a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical business and possesses an ability to define and translate objectives and business questions into analytical problems that require advanced and scalable analytical solutions that produce actionable insights.

Primary Tasks:

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Business Operations leaders to optimize the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and proactively identify opportunities to enhance Commercial effectiveness

  • Provide strategic recommendations to brand and marketing leads for optimizing high value actions (micro-conversion) points across sales and marketing channels based analytics and insights

  • Perform analytics by aligning the right methodologies solutions to assess digital promotion or tactic performance, analyze customer behavior and customer journey, deep dive in vendors’ analytics and optimization capabilities, conduct content analysis or modeling to optimize customer experience.

  • Oversee design, delivery, and automation of enterprise level advanced omnichannel customer analytics deliverables to support campaign, channel, and content optimizations and marketing executive level presentation.

  • Provide direction to offshore resources to develop analytics solutions across numerous data sources; ensure the team delivers solutions with quality standards, timeliness, compliance, and excellent user experience including identifying any data gaps

  • Work closely with the other advanced analytics team members in the Data Analytics and Insights Group on digital analytic models, customer segmentation recommendations as needed to enhance omni-channel targeting strategy

  • Present to key partners and share key learnings with different stakeholders across analytics groups

  • Build strategic relationships and manage communication across relevant teams.

Qualifications

  • Oncology background is a must

  • Expertise in digital media and customer analytics

  • Strong problem solving, business analysis and quantitative skills

  • Working knowledge of statistical and data science principles to enable adequate understanding of design of experiments, algorithm models (linear or logistic regression, cluster analysis, decision tree, propensity score matching etc.), the appropriate application of different models, and effective communication to business audiences.

  • Strong understanding of CRM database, web tagging, data warehousing, cloud environment (AWS), data architecture and ETL

  • Hands on coding experience in Python, R, and/or SQL are required.

  • Excellent storyteller.

  • Willingness to teach others but open-minded to learn.

  • Detail oriented and committed to producing high-quality work and maximizing resources, while meeting deadlines

  • Strong communications and presentational skills

  • Positive attitude, professional, courteous demeanor, strong work ethic and ability to collaborate in a constructive manner with others in a dynamic working environment

  • Always curious and asking questions that would improve customer experience and engagement, and deepen the learning

  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work along multiple workstreams simultaneously

Knowledge & Education

  • Data driven mindset with 5+ years of working knowledge doing quantitative analysis at the digital campaign, customer, channel, and content level

  • Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis, synthesize results, develop stories, build strategies and make recommendations to business and technical leaders

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative analytics fields (e.g. engineering, statistics, economics, operational research, or information system) is required, advanced degree strongly preferred
