Our Supply Chain team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the place, at the right time.

Summary, Focus and Purpose

This position is within our Company Global Clinical Supply (GCS) Operational Excellence - Compliance organization responsible for providing compliance support to Global Clinical Supply and for participating in or leading global projects managed by or that impact GCS Compliance.

The Global Clinical Supply Compliance Associate Director includes developing and implementing processes to ensure compliance with applicable company policies and quality management system (QMS) standards and supports the overall mission of the GCS Operational Excellence team to instill a continuous improvement culture and works with GCS management and staff, Research & Development Division Quality Assurance, Learning and Development, Clinical Quality and Improvement, Corporate Compliance and Supply Chain stakeholders globally.

Key Functions

  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, tools, systems, and training to ensure compliance across GCS

  • Develop and manage KPIs, assess trends, monitor, and report output to stakeholders

  • Coordinate training, procedural documentation and SAP role changes in support of process changes or changes in QMS & other compliance requirements

  • Drive audit/inspection readiness, response and CAPA management activities in partnership with business areas

  • Lead projects for implementation of new quality/compliance, documentation, training, onboarding and SAP role management processes & systems within GCS

  • Lead resolution of compliance, SAP role, training or documentation issues when they arise

  • Matrix Team Lead and/or Process Owner for one or more processes in scope of GCS Compliance- develop/manage business process & compliance/operational KPIs, train & coach talent on the matrixed team. Examples: training management, onboarding process, procedures/documentation management, KPI management, SAP Role/Training management, Global Time Tracking (GTT) management

  • Contributes to strategy setting for group or project, including setting of objectives/priorities

  • Partner with area SMEs inside and outside of GCS on cross-functional initiatives representing compliance

  • Participate on site quality compliance council and QMS topic teams as appropriate


  • Bachelor degree


  • Eight years of professional relevant experience in a regulated environment

  • Compliance – Strong compliance mindset and knowledge of GxP quality management. Ability to apply corporate, GxP quality, EHS and other applicable standards and procedures to day-to-day supply chain activities | Prior experience in a regulated area (compliance, operations, quality)

  • Information Systems Knowledge - Proficiency in Office 365. Experience using compliance tracking tools, KPI management and reporting required. Knowledge of Training systems and Documentation management systems

  • Project Management – Demonstrated strong project leadership of cross-functional teams through project planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out | Experience with Project Management tools

  • Process Improvement – Knowledge of root cause analysis, after action review, trending to identify opportunities to improve processes and planning tools to meet the business needs | Constructively challenge the status quo to explore continuous improvement opportunities

  • Collaboration – Strong abilities in stakeholder management and building and strengthening cross-functional networks

  • Communication - Plans and delivers ideas and information to others in a clear and impactful manner

$117,600.00 - $200,100.00
