Associate Director (Hospital/Specialty) Contracting Segment
This position will work closely with Integrated Account Management, Market Access, Legal, Compliance, Government Pricing and Customer Contract Management peers to evaluate, implement and execute contracts that enable revenue growth. The highest level of compliance with contract terms and conditions, regulatory requirements and laws is required, while also striving for strong business partnership and customer transaction excellence.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure accurate adjudication of all contracts within Customer Contract Management (CCM’s) contract management system, consistent with defined Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions.
Provide advice, guidance and expertise to management to develop effective solutions that improve efficiency and minimize errors through utilization of existing data and reporting capabilities.
Build and develop strong internal and external customer relationships.
Inform development of and support implementation of new contracting strategies.
Effectively understand and troubleshoot the variety of Hospital/Specialty contracts.
Payment review and approval.
Champion a continuous improvement culture, eliminate low value work, streamline value-added processes, increase customer and employee satisfaction and enhance contract and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with CCM’s Contract Operations Support team to identify and implement opportunities for systems and/or reporting enhancements.
Embrace and demonstrate our company’s Ways of Working principles and behaviors.
Manage staff to ensure excellence and quality in coordination and execution, while also defining priorities, providing feedback and coaching and enabling development opportunities as warranted.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Required: BA/BS
Preferred: MA/MS/MBA
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of five (5) years in a role involving direct support of internal business customers.
Minimum of five (5) years in the pharmaceutical industry in some area of marketing, sales, operations, finance or managed markets.
Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and strong oral and written communication skills.
Organization, accuracy and high aptitude for compliance and transactional excellence.
Strong working knowledge of CCM’s contract management system.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Knowledge of the contracts lifecycle management process, managed healthcare environment and decision support systems.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical government pricing and commercial contracting.
Minimum of three (3) years in a role with direct management of a team of employees (e.g. at least 2 direct reports).

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
