Associate Director, Commercial Model Innovation

In order to execute the strategy of being more adaptive and responsive to changing market needs and to establish ourselves as a leader in the eyes of our customers, the US Market has identified a need to accelerate and prioritize Commercial Model Innovation through the development, installation, prioritization and realization of key capabilities that will allow us to deliver a personalized customer experience and drive performance.
The Commercial Model Innovation Team Associate Director will be responsible for driving innovation in the US Market. Specifically, they will partner with US Market leaders and stakeholders to develop strategy, align on intent and drive solutions through experimentation and scaling efforts designed to inspire and accelerate a culture of innovation that enables a differentiated customer experience.
In addition to program planning and execution, the role will be required to manage risks, dependencies and ensure that they work together with the teams to ensure overarching change plan across the US market, to inspire and accelerate a culture of innovation that enables a differentiated customer experience.
Strategy development – deliver work across strategy continuum from early conceptual ‘white space’ design to strategy execution and realization across the US Market (i.e. Define, Design, Detailed Design, Build, Pilot, Launch, Realize)
Partners with key US Market stakeholders to advance solutions and bring them to life through an iterative planning process.
Build strong, open, and collaborative working relationships among leadership, peers, and support teams within and outside the organization.
Frame business case, trade-off choices, and risks for US Market Leaders
Leverage new ways of working to promote innovative design efforts (i.e. Agile)
Understand and implement modern Change Management practices to ensure adoption.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree, required
Master’s Degree, preferred
Required Experience and Skills:
Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 5+ years of experience spanning strategic and operations roles
Minimum 5+ years Transformation, Strategic Planning experience
Experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives
Comfortable working in white space and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
Experience working with external vendors to execute on transformational projects
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Strong understanding of compliance-related concepts and application in all job-related functions
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Direct customer experience (i.e. Sales, Marketing)
Demonstrated Change Management experience or a combination of professional certification(s)
Demonstrated experience executing comprehensive transformational change plans across a broad group of stakeholders/functions (HQ, field, COEs, strategic partners, executive sponsors, etc.) to work collaboratively and achieve success
Experience in developing and executing complex project plans and the associated comms plan and change management strategies
Breadth of commercial experience across Brand Marketing, Sales and Operations
Demonstrated situational leadership and creative problem solving
Demonstrable Agile experience or a combination of professional certification(s) along with that experience, including Agile scaling
Knowledgeable in systems thinking, design thinking and organizational behavior

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:$130,960.00 - $206,200.00
