Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a talent FEOL/MOL integration research engineer who has strong CMOS FEOL/MOL
integration background and skills for advanced logic technology innovation. This candidate will work
together with IBM research team at Albany for advanced CMOS technology exploration. Innovatively
propose and prove the solutions for advanced logic technology nodes.

We are seeking a talent research engineer in FEOL/MOL integration area, who will be working with a
world-class research and development team toward future advanced CMOS technologies.
The primary responsibility of this candidate position will be to drive FEOL/MOL process integration for future-
node CMOS devices with novel architectures. The employee will need to design integration flow, implement it to
hardware and prove its feasibility by hardware data toward the required device architecture. The candidate needs to
have mindsets of innovation, capable of problem solving and strong hardware execution skills. Having experiences
in advanced FEOL/MOL CMOS integration is a plus.
Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1) Knowledge of semiconductor process integration
2) Knowledge of semiconductor materials, patterning, or metallization
3) Strong technical written / verbal communication skill
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
1) 3+ years experiences in advanced nodes FEOL/MOL CMOS integration
2) Understanding of advanced CMOS logic technology scaling fundamentals
3) Knowledge of semiconductor device physics
4) Testsite, macro design experiences
5) Physical failure analysis experience

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
