The Experience Management team at Deloitte Digital gives companies the ability to build and leverage the connections - between people, systems, data, and technologies - so they can deliver personalized, contextual experiences to customers at scale. What you'll do

You will be a senior leader within the Data Science, Analytics and Personalization practice, helping to set the vision for the team, supporting Sales pursuits, and delivering work - leading across client engagements end to end. You'll work closely with other Senior Managers and Partners across the firm (and industries), especially those that focus on Advertising, Marketing, Commerce, Search, and overall digital transformation. You will own sales and delivery for data science, analytics, and personalization client engagements - working across data strategy, AOR reporting, Marketing reporting, ML modeling, and automated decisioning. You will drive and manage various accounts and ensure we have the right programs in place to meet clients' growth objectives, focused on data science, analytics, and personalization, including continued client relationship building and opportunity identification. You will pay close attention to the details and budgets for each client project and oversee cross-capability teams to deliver successful client engagements. You will support growth of the practice by mentoring junior analytics and data science professionals and supporting key eminence in market.

Advertising, Marketing & Commerce

Our Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team focuses on delivering marketing and growth objectives aligned with our clients' brand values for measurable business growth. We do this by creating content, communications, and experiences that engage and inspire their customers to act. We implement and operate the technology platforms that enable personalized content, commerce, and marketing user-centric experiences. In doing so, we transform our clients' marketing and engagement operations into modern, data-driven, creatively focused organizations. Our team brings deep experience in creative and digital marketing capabilities, many from our Digital Studios.

We serve our clients through the following types of work:

  • Omnichannel customer engagement strategy, design, and development (web, mobile, social, physical)
  • eCommerce strategy, implementation, and operations
  • Marketing Content and digital asset management solutions
  • Marketing Technology and Advertising Technology solutions
  • Marketing analytics implementation and operations
  • Advertising campaign ideation, development, and execution
  • Acquisition and engagement campaign ideation, development, and execution
  • Agile based, design-thinking, user-centric, empirical projects that accelerate results


Required - What you bring
  • You have 10+ years of experience in solving key challenges in the Analytics, Data Science and Personalization space, rooted in the voice and needs of a marketer
  • You have 5+ years overseeing large data science and analytics teams, helping to develop junior practitioners - and a proven track record of delivering successful data science and analytics work to clients; and expanding into new work
  • You bring deep experience in leveraging data in marketing and advertising
  • You have a strong technical, hands-on background that will enable you to support your teams' success
  • You have a functional understanding of key analytical concepts like measurement plans/KPIs, testing frameworks, tagging and connected data, and core analytical tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Datorama, Looker, PowerBI and more
  • You have the ability to provide strategic advice on the use of machine learning to improve customer experiences and performance results of marketing and advertising spend
  • You have experience in the full Analytics and Data Science sales cycle from initial qualification through to successful delivery of projects
  • You have experience working with delivery teams, bringing an overall understanding of what it takes to build and deliver analytics and data science solutions
  • You have led and managed teams to effectively drive overall digital marketing, media and growth strategy optimizations, rooted in data
  • You bring a perspective on next-gen measurement ideas and know how to sell and deliver these ideas to clients, rooted in Marketing, Advertising, and Commerce
  • You have experience building key relationships with experts across the end-to-end connected process; and know when and how to pull them into client conversations to help demonstrate the depth of our experience
  • You have experience managing project financials/economics and an expertise in staffing the right team to support project success and achieve financial profitability
  • You are an expert storyteller and have an expertise in positioning Analytics and Data Science solutions for a variety of end audiences (e.g., CMO, CDO, etc.), across a variety of industries
  • You have a collaborative working style and have built strong relationships
  • You have extremely strong project management skills and the ability to triage and prioritize competing needs
  • You have a strong track record of working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a proven ability to produce high-quality output under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now, or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 40% (while travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice

Preferred - Bonus Points if you have:
  • Understanding of Data Science modeling techniques
  • Comfort interacting regularly with technical subject matter experts and business owners of varying organizational levels
  • Understanding of IP/assets through working with Product teams and know how to leverage assets to solve client challenges, and position assets through pitches/selling new work
  • Expertise in working with Customer Data Platforms, Marketing Technology, and Advertising Technology
  • Understanding of connected data; CDPs, databases, and omnichannel/cross-channel tagging and tracking
