Because the greatest risk in life, is the risk of never trying!<br><br>Imagine what you could do here at Novartis!<br><br>The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) leads scientific engagement with the medical/scientific community by implementing and partnering on clinical and educational strategies. Develop collaborative relationships with medical experts (MEs) to pair needs with available resources. Inform medical strategies through robust insight-generation. <br><br>The territory for this role is Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky. <br>Candidates must live in the territory assigned. Relocation is not offered for this role. <br><br>What you will be doing:<br>-Lead scientific engagement with their Medical Experts. Implement clinical and educational<br>strategies and respond to unsolicited medical enquiries. Lead field medical activities in<br>collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentor other Field Medical associates.<br>Major Accountabilities<br>-Engage with Medical Experts (MEs) to educate on medical/scientific information<br>-Ensure appropriate identification/mapping of MEs/ Key Accounts including identification of<br>opportunities to involve MEs when a specific medical need is identified to provide support<br>-Develop/execute ME engagement plans to effectively prioritize and strategically engage MEs<br>aligned with country strategy<br>-Respond to unsolicited requests for information from MEs<br>-Proactively contribute to the development/execution of medical strategy/tactical plans,<br>including collecting, analyzing, and reporting impactful insights from MEs.<br>-Support Novartis clinical research programs, optimize trial execution and provide<br>scientific educational support to study sites in collaboration with clinical operations.<br>-Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) process upon investigator request<br>-Provide expert disease area/ product training, serve as a medical resource to field<br>colleagues, actively coach/mentor others<br>-Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to<br>Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt<br>-Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)<br><br>The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $174,400.00 and $261,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
