What you will do:

The Manager, Market Research and Analysis plans and coordinates the external market research and analysis for products, acquisitions, licensing deals, distribution agreements and other business arrangements with outside companies or individuals to bring new products or technology to Stryker Instruments.

Responsibilities:

  • Will take primary responsibility for completion and publishing of all routine Market Insights deliverables, e.g. marketing fact book, competitive price guide, and competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct market research focused for specific acquisition targets / organic product launches.
  • Will manage incoming market intelligence “feeds” and competitive earnings calls and distribute accordingly.
  • Develop custom research projects based on active needs of the marketing team
  • Assist in the analysis of internal and external data sources and determine optimal sources and spend.
  • Responsible for managing all outside marketing research vendor relationships and cross divisional collaboration with other Stryker Market Research Analyst.
  • Execute protocol for collecting, analyzing and assimilating internal & external data
  • Analyze data including: level of confidence, identify trends/correlations, market sizing and revenue opportunity, product line trends, and market penetration.
  • Assist in supplying market intelligence for the business unit strategic plan.
  • Identify growth opportunities from market analysis by product and clinical space.
  • Conduct market research focused around potential future white space portfolios using trends along with standard info (market size, competitor landscape, etc) to facilitate adoption and growth.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 8+ years relevant experience required.
  • 3+ years of market research experience preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of market research and market insights, marketing analysis and business strategy preferred.
