Job Description

Job Description: Our Quality Assurance group ensures every single material inside our products is manufactured, processed, tested, packaged, stored and distributed aligned with our incredibly high standards of quality and meets all regulatory requirements. Partnering across our internal manufacturing facilities, external contract manufacturers and suppliers we create an interdependent global manufacturing network committed to deliver a compliant, reliable supply to customers and patients on time, every time, across the globe.

Job Summary:

• Ensure the effective inspection, quarantine, rework, and release of products prior to reception and shipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute procedures for the inspection of incoming raw material and determine if the material is clear for use in our production activities.

• Execute procedures for the inspection of in-progress and finished products to meet the customer’s requirements and determine whether the products require rework or cleared for release and shipping.

• Liaise with Management, Production, Shipping/Receiving and IT teams, to manage the exceptions that might arise during normal operations.

• Take effective and prompt corrective actions and participate in a continuous improvement activity.

Skills and Educational Requirements:

Minimum required education:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of relevant experience

Shift :

• M-F 2:30 PM - 11 AM

Required experience and skills:

• Proficient in reading and understanding the English language.

• Able to read and understand written documents, technical specifications, and operating instructions.

• Able to understand and execute statistical tools, as well as electronic reports pertaining to the products being inspected.

• Able to use scales, rulers, counters, and similar tools to perform our quality procedures.

• Experience in operating a computer, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams, and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer skills.

• Ability to perceive differences between colors.

• Able to lift 40 pounds from the floor under normal working conditions.
