This division is the innovation engine of Novartis, focusing on powerful new technologies that have the potential to help produce therapeutic breakthroughs for patients! <br><br>This role is a highly technical and/or specialized professional position responsible for supporting research by providing high quality and consistent in vivo training and technical input to research staff within our multi-building, multi-discipline research program. Perform supplemental tasks in assisting the Manager, coordinating CM staff activities as it relates to specific associate and training scheduling and other delegated programmatic oversight duties as specified.<br><br>Major Accountabilities:<br>• Principally responsible for daily, hands-on technical in vivo training support (i.e. handling and restraint, euthanasia, compound administration, blood/tissue collection, etc.)<br>• Often responsible for liaising with research department personnel. <br>• Routinely responsible for ensuring compliance with all institutional and regulatory protocols, policies, and guidelines<br>• Responsible for pursuing continuous learning/professional development opportunities, enhancing/expanding skill set, and reviewing CM SOPs/techniques<br>• Other duties and responsibilities as may be required.<br><br>Key Performance Indicators:<br>• Provide consistent and high quality on site scientific in vivo support <br>• Proactively meet and exceed requestors’ expectations<br>• Liaise with research community for comprehension of scientific rational behind study parameters to determine training needs<br>• Organize trainings for teammates<br>• Train and evaluate new associates to proficiency on applicable techniques<br>• Effectively gain certification and proficiency on all applicable technical skills as required by the role<br>• Team-oriented and interactive.
