In about 13 million of these patients, the illness is severe and substantially interferes with one or more major aspects of their lives. The Neuroscience Department at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research is committed to developing transformative therapies to treat such disorders. <br><br>We are seeking a highly motivated lab-based scientist to join the In Vivo Electrophysiology lab. The individual will design and execute experiments in genetic and pharmacological rodent models using in vivo electrophysiology to support multiple programs in neuropsychiatric, neurodevelopmental, and neurodegenerative disorders.<br><br>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br>• Design and execute in vivo electrophysiology-based experiments in freely moving rodents<br>• Perform extensive hands-on work including animal handling, dosing, and surgical procedures<br>• Work collaboratively in a highly matrix environment to deliver output in a timely manner<br>• Analyze and interpret data and present findings to multidisciplinary teams<br><br><br>https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=novartis+youtube&view=detail&mid=8F6FFD3A41E629BD46938F6FFD3A41E629BD4693&FORM=VIRE
