4 FDA approved drugs; 15+ clinical candidates; 400+ patents; 21 years of Novartis–San Diego history!<br><br>The Biotherapeutics group at NIBR-SD is seeking a highly motivated scientist with molecular biology, tissue culture, and protein/antibody skills. This is a great opportunity to join a group dedicated to discovering and optimizing protein and antibody therapeutics, working as part of multidisciplinary drug discovery teams in a variety of disease areas.<br><br>Your responsibilities:<br>•Provide molecular biology support for biotherapeutic discovery – which will include DNA/RNA cloning and production, transfections, and cell line/reagent QC<br>•Assist with the tissue culture needs of the group – sterile technique is a must<br>•Conduct protein and antibody characterization experiments such as FACS, ELISA, and Western blot<br>•Contribute to analysis of results, suggest new experiments, and clearly communicate current progress to the project team(s)<br>•Work effectively as a member of multiple teams to accomplish shared project goals<br>•Database management of proteins and cell lines<br>•Contemporaneous and accurate documentation of experiments<br><br>[#video#https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggbnzRY9z8w{#400,300#}#/video#]
