1 purpose....to reimagine medicine! We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic research scientist to join the Immune Modulation (iMOD) team within the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (NIBR) Exploratory Immuno-Oncology and Hematology department. <br><br>In this role, you'll apply your molecular and immunology knowledge and skills to drive innovation in the field of immunotherapy. You will contribute to the development of novel immune modulation drugs which could overcome tumor-suppressive environments and improve current CAR-T therapies. You will work with a multidisciplinary and collaborative group to help advance drug research programs from target validation through first in human clinical trials by generating rigorous in vitro and ex vivo cellular data packages. <br><br>Key Responsibilities included, but not limited to:<br><br>•Collaborate with colleagues and work with the manager to plan and design experiments; conduct and optimize experiments independently; record, interpret, and communicate data promptly.<br>•Establish assays utilizing primary immune cells and cell lines to probe targets of interest and validate potential therapeutic reagents<br>•Perform molecular and cellular assays for discovering the target’s mechanism of action<br>•Present data in meetings with small or large groups.<br><br>[#video#https://youtu.be/B88bPEKkDI4{#400,300#}#/video#]
