Translational Molecular Biomarkers (TMB) is responsible for the development and execution of clinical biomarker assays across all therapeutic areas and all phases of clinical development. TMB laboratories leverage a diverse array of technologies to develop biomarker assays to help confirm engagement of therapeutic targets and understand mechanisms drug action and patient response.
The Molecular Pathology team within the TMB organization is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join us to work with our teams on tissue-based biomarker assays that will help guide therapeutic programs.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher education in a life sciences discipline (Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Pathology, Cell Biology, etc.)
Required Experience and Skills:
- Candidate must be able to commit to full-time hybrid employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2024
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Possess a strong desire to work hands-on in a molecular pathology laboratory
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Self-motivated and eager to learn and evaluate new technologies
Candidates should be collaborative and should be able to work both independently and under the supervision of a TMB scientist
A basic understanding of assay development and analysis is desirable
Prior experience in histopathology-based assays (e.g. IHC, mIF, ISH) and digital image analysis is a plus
Prior use of statistical software packages (e.g., Prism, SPSS) is desirable
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00 - $105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.
