Warehouse Worker - Forklift Operator - $20.00-$22.00 Per Hour - $1,500 Sign On Bonus (Job Number: 2209360 )

Position Summary :

Our business is growing! Penske Logistics is looking for full-time and part-time stand-up forklift operators at our brand new 700k square foot facility in Alburtis, PA (Macungie, PA area). You will be required to hand-load/unload product, as needed. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

Schedules Available :

-Full-Time, Friday-Monday, 6am-4:30pm, $19.00/hour base pay rate, $2.00/hour shift incentive, $21.00/hour total pay rate

-Full-Time, Friday-Monday, 6pm-4:30am, $19.00/hour base pay rate, $3.00/hour shift incentive, $22.00/hour total pay rate

-Part-Time, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday (6am-4:30pm or 6pm-4:30am)

Pay :

-$19.00/hour starting base wage

-Up to $3.00/hour for shift incentives

-$1,500 sign on bonus, $500 to be paid out after 31 days of hire, $500 to be paid out after 61 days of hire, and $500 to be paid out after 91 days of hire.

Major Responsibilities :

-Operate stand-up forklifts

-Hand-unload product as needed

-Electronically scan products using an electronic system

-Complete daily logs

-Maintain professional communications with all team-members to facilitate a positive environment

-Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs-Uses computer to enter records as needed

-Complete any other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications :

-Previous forklift experience required

-High school diploma or equivalent preferred

-Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required

-Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required

-Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location)

-Flexible to work overtime preferred

-Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required

-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

-Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

-This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50ibs/23kg and occasionally life and/or move up to 100 lbs/45kg.
