Job Description
Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC has multiple openings for IT Developer in Advance, NC. Create and modify computer programs by converting project requirements into code. Develop usable solutions from business requirements to ensure productivity and efficiency within the organizational execution of tasks. Plan programs by studying specifications; arrange specifications by developing logical sequence, preparing flowcharts, and researching solutions. Code specifications by converting logical sequence and workflow into program language. Verify coding by performing unit testing and trial runs. Prepare program documentation. Advance job knowledge to the next level by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and learning from mentors and peers. Follow company standards. Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions. Maintain reliable attendance. Actively participate in departmental meetings, training, and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
Job Requirements
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and one year of experience in software development or related.
Also, must have work experience with: UI and Backend Web development; Object Oriented Program Development; Data structuring; web server development using Node.js, C3 or Java; JavaScript or ECMAScript; and HTML 5 and CSS.
