Unity 3D Developer for Autonomous System, 40% telecommute
Job Summary
Amentum is seeking experienced Unity and Unity 3D developers to support software development in the Fredericksburg area, specifically at Dahlgren, VA. This position is 40% telework.
You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges.
Apply your skills to the latest DoD weapons and sensor systems, modernizing the Navy and contributing to mission success. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and specific experience with Unity 3D modeling/software development and 2-4 years of related experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be eligible to receive and maintain an active interim secret or secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Bonus Skills and Experience: writing custom shaders and/or experience with Unity’s shader graph tool, and experience with detailed lighting/reflections in Unity 3D. Oceanography, Ocean Spectra and/or Wave Mechanics also a plus.
