"Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. May sometimes require your attention at odd hours.*Who you are:** You have a PhD/MS/BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering* You have worked for at least 5-10 years in the software industry* You have a good foundation in Cloud Native design and coding* You are experienced in Agile development, scrums, and using JIRA for tracking and reporting* You are very experienced in writing high performant Java code and tests and are proficient in the latest Java release* You have a good understanding of networking, virtualization and container concepts* You have a proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems and Web technologies.* You have extensive experience in writing Java based micro services, RESTful services and JSON* You have solid experience in using Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus and Grafana.
