We have a dynamic and agile geographically diverse software development team seeking experienced software development expert with Kubernetes knowledge for product owner and scrum master role. We are seeking candidates with 10-15 years of development experience in a Linux environment with infrastructure automation and container orchestration and agile development tools.ABOUT US:Our team is responsible for developing and sustaining the Kubernetes Cloud Native Environment used by Oracle Communications 5G cloud native network functions deployed at top tier Communications Service Providers for network policy control, routing and database solutions.OCCNE provides automated deployment of Kubernetes and application support functions. Application support functions include service mesh, load balancer, observability tools, high performance database and other important feature on which Oracle Communications network functions rely on.RESPONSIBLITIES* Serves as the point person on the geo diverse agile development team to define and execute on strategic goals of OCCNE* Acts as the product champion and liaison between the customer, Product Planning and Product Development* Collaborates with the Scrum team and stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, user experience and acceptance test criteria* Owns and leads the analysis effort related to the decomposition of feature offerings in accordance with the roadmap to bring new features to market* Continuously prioritizes and maintains the product backlog for assigned products and features. Balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders and owning the decision to pivot when necessary* Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with team members* Effectively conveys the product vision to the Scrum team to map a clear path and create alignment* Ensure sprint development goals are met, reprioritized as needed, and scope is maintained* Lead various Scrum ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives* Synthesizes customer feedback from multiple sources and incorporates it into the product backlog to deliver increased value to the market* Leads and directs the team towards the goals and achievements* Provides quick, day-to-day, just-in-time decisions to business level questions for the Scrum team* Provides sign off on product release functionality through validation of user stories and acceptance criteria* Continuously tracks and reports progress to stakeholders towards program increment goals and the product vision* Collaborates with Product Marketing/Technical Publications to develop internal and external product collateralDESIRED COMPETENCIES:* Well versed in Cloud Native containerized infrastructure (Kubernetes), applications, tools and techniques.
