"**Principal Software Developer****Preferred Qualifications**The Audit & Compliance Engineering (SCS-ACE) team is building a system to provide continuous security state awareness for SaaS properties. We partner with existing teams from Audit, Compliance, Incident Response, Operations, and SaaS property owners to identify requirements and we aggregate data from multiple sources around the company to fulfill them. If you are creative there's a ton of opportunity to solve problems around automating the collection of information that is typically collected manually. Since we're building a 24/7/365 service to monitor security posture in OCI/OCI-C environments previous automation and systems development experience is highly valued. If you've built test automation frameworks or reliable always-on services this may be familiar territory for you.This position is for a Software Engineer who will help us create the infrastructure components, tools, and other technology necessary to remove the human element out of our security posture collection and reporting. Our infrastructure is written in Java so this experience is a big plus.* Technical understanding and demonstrable experience of cloud engineering specifically in the development of applications and solutions that provide security controls.* 6 years of application development / systems development preferred* Strong and hands-on experience/knowledge in the following or similar areas:o Automation development experienceo Developer knowledge and experience with common security solutions; FIM, IoC, SIEM, IDS, Patch Management, etc...o Programming in C , C#, Java, Python, or other OOP languageo Successful automation development experienceo Windows and preferably Oracle Linux platformso Git, SVN, Bamboo, or similar version control experienceo SQL schema design, stored procedures, and SQL experience* Problem solving skills to learn new technical and non-technical analysis techniques to overcome problems.* Ability to identify and implement both tactical and strategic solutions.* Demonstrated knowledge of networking protocols* Ability to work independently and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.* Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills.* Passion for innovation, problem solving, and creativity**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures.
