Job Description:
The Defense group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Software Developer to work in NCE on the RECON project, in support of the NGA's Research Directorate.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in an R&D environment and support critical warfighter missions. Examples of potential projects include: image reconstruction, object detection and tracking, feature extraction and classification, machine learning, signal processing, and radiometric analysis. The position will be onsite approximately 3 days per week, and eventually 5 days per week post-COVID.
Primary responsibilities
Seeking a mid-level Software Developer with skills in Python, version control, and JavaScript. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning research-level analytics into usable tools for analysts.
Requirements:
BS degree and four (4)+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with two (2)+ years of prior relevant experience
Active TS/SCI with Poly.
Ability to learn new concepts and apply them to meet research objectives.
