Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a .Net Developer with Angular experience. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of systems, build applications, interface between applications, understand data security, retention, and recovery. The candidate should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Primary Responsibilities

• This developer will be responsible for translating software requirements into workable programming code in order to maintain, develop, and update applications and programs for business use; including writing, designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting applications and software using programming languages and development tools

• Design, Develop, Test and Maintain Web applications, Front End development and supporting software (web services, etc.)

• Implement and unit test changes to existing and newly developed applications

• Ensure integrity of code by using practiced and proven standards of development

• Execute application change requests

• Write technical documentation for applications and supporting software

• Research and remain current on trends and standards in programming in order to ensure continued improvement and implementation of quality and effective application and software solutions

Basic Qualifications

Experience for .Net Developer:

• Must have 3+ years of experience in software and application programming with a demonstration of in-depth development life cycle understanding and applied knowledge

Required Skills for .Net Developer:

• Hands on experience developing applications in Angular 5 and above

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2+, React

• Must be proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, .NET framework including use of LINQ, Dapper, ADO.NET, MVC

• Must be fluent in various programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript and XML

• Must be comfortable with CSS, Bootstrap, SQL Stored Procedures, Typescript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Object Oriented Programming, SOA, UX Development, XML

• Experience using source controls such as Git, TFS

Preferred Qualifications

• General understanding of LINQ, Generics, Lambda expressions, extension methods, attributes

• General understanding of Web Services and serialization, XML, JSON, SOAP, WCF, REST

• General understanding of Unit testing
