What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, technical solutions architect who can ideate, collaborate, design, solution, and architect working with multiple stakeholders including system of engagement teams, system of records team, business partners and vendors in addition to other teams with in CXP. This new role is in ETNI team,

As part of ETNI team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Strategy and implementation of systems and business solutions for wireless Telephone Inventory management platform and other deliverables for business, security compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Drive architecture, design, development, testing, and implementation of strategic solutions for ETNI Domain to meet both Business as well as GTS objectives for Verizon.
  • Handle cross-functional communication to executive management and decision making in order to drive our objectives.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience inJava/J2EE, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, Microservices, Containers, K8s, Cassandra NoSQL, and/or AWS.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Responsible and accountable for architecture, design, development and implementation of ETNI Domain API transformation in line with NSA guidelines and compliance to integrate with Domain architecture.
  • Design and develop solutions for complex ETNI suite of applications, interact with business partners, understand business needs and translate that to IT requirements and implement.
  • Ensure the developed code satisfies business requirements and ensure it is delivered on time.
  • Develop coding standards and best practices for developers both in Verizon India and US. Review their code deliverables to ensure no security, performance flaws and no negative customer experience.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for Executive updates on Major programs with business benefits and ROI.
  • After the software is delivered to production, track the metrics to ensure it meets its original objective review any fallouts and lessons learned and implement solutions to eliminate recurrence of issues.
  • Platform modernization using new technologies. Identify new technologies the industry is moving towards and implement them to stay relevant.
  • Evaluate Open Source technologies, come up with proof of concepts and then implement these new technologies to reduce the cost of ownership.
  • Drive and collaborate with stakeholders and development teams (internal and external) to ensure technical architecture and delivery of business projects.
  • Lead the technical architecture and delivery of ETNI AWS migration and transformation of GUI and other suite of applications.
  • Own the ETNI domain and backend platform and ensure systems health, availability and performance for excellent customer experience and be a SME for ETNI Domain space.
  • Work closely with onshore and offshore teams for enabling flexible resource models and agile 2.0.
