The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for a Systems Engineer in the Ft. Meade area, MD.

Program Summary

Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a newly-awarded, large, multi-year contract that develops, integrates deploys, and sustains large collection systems. The work is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. We provide exceptional service to our customer in an area in which we have deep incumbent knowledge.

Significant requirements include Mission Management, Operations, and Sustainment activities. The team will provide 24x7x365 support to multiple Operations Teams and will feature 1st/2nd/3rd Party Partner Engagement.

Job Summary

The Junior Engineer (JE) will design and implement hardware and software solutions including documentation, testing and modification, schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, and parts lists; and will test and evaluate hardware and software designs to ensure proper operation. Candidate must be willing to work a 12-hour shift of 7am-7pm, which rotates monthly. (Shift differential available.)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field is highly desirable and can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
  • Experience with Linux
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,300.00 - $96,350.00
