Databricks Data Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Databricks Data Engineer will be responsible for data management, visibility, and optimization activities. This is a hands-on position that requires both technical and client-facing skills to lead data pipeline design and implementation, integration with structured and semi-structured data sources, integration with BI tools, data lakehouse design and implementation, graphdb implementation, data cataloging, and data modeling, integration of disparate data technologies, client and partner interface, technical writing, presentation, and agile development. Must be proactive and a motivated self-starter.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with Databricks and AWS Services
• Experience with RDBMS SQL and Python
• Experience in operations research and analysis
• Ability to pick up most BI platforms (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
* Ability to earn security clearance
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• 1+ years of experience in supply chain data analytics
• Experience with Graph Data Stores and analysis techniques – Neo4J, Cypher Query Language
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Experience with Public Sector Clients (US Federal, Higher Education, State and Local Governments)
• General knowledge and experience with leading automation software products
• General knowledge of Data Mesh and/or Data Fabric

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
