Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is for an Engineer in the Defect Inspection and Characterization team to drive defect inspection implementation and yield improvement.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is for an Engineer in the Defect Inspection and Characterization team to drive defect inspection implementation and yield improvement.
- This Engineer will be responsible for data analysis of defect inspection data, daily readouts of inspection results, and weekly reports on yield paretos and step-up plans.
- They will work with IBM engineers and vendors to setup defect inspections to identify yield issues, find root cause and drive process/design fixes to resolve issues.
- This role will also involve interaction with equipment vendors to evaluate new tool capabilities and identify areas for collaboration and inspection optimization.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with data analysis and presenting to technical audience (2 years)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Experience in Microelectronics field (2+ years)
- Bachelors in Science or engineering discipline
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with KLA and/or AMAT defect inspection tools (2+ years)
- Experience with Klarity defect software (1+ year)
- Experience in Microelectronics field (4+ years)
- Masters in Science or Engineering discipline

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
