Your Main Mission:

The VTC Maintainer/Engineer is solely responsible for scheduling VTCs and ensuring VTC equipment is operational so there is no impact to the Command’s VTC capability. Manages and coordinates VTCs with enterprise bridge. Responsible for identifying, isolating and repairing malfunctioning AV VTC equipment and systems to include microphones, speakers, displays, codex, control systems, video audio matrix and amplifier subsystems, and associated cabling. Perform periodic preventive maintenance of AV VTC equipment. Coordinates and schedules, per maintenance agreement, with vendor on routine or autocycle maintenance. Coordinates warranty repair replacement items as needed. Gathers and provides information for system security efforts such as system accreditation. Install patches, firmware updates, etc. to maintain system security. Manages VTC lifecycle of all hardware, software, and associated peripherals to include forecasting end of life components, security considerations, and contract renewals. Integrates feedback received from stakeholders and end users to optimize service capabilities while planning, implementing, and maintaining new AV VTC requirements, capabilities, and authorizations. Provides metrics on system performance, capabilities, usage, and other requested information. Leads efforts on the migration/upgrades of AV VTCs as projects arise.

What Sets You Apart (Required):

Active Top Secret with access to SCI access security clearance.

4-8 years - experience supporting VTCs and conference room operations.

BA/BS in the Information Technology field preferred. (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

Willingness to obtain Security+ Certification, if required.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
