"**Lead Financial Analyst, North America Applications Consulting****Preferred Qualifications****POSITION OVERVIEW**The Global Business Finance Organization is responsible for supporting the companys executives and officers with financial and operational analysis to drive business decisions that contribute to the success and profitability of Oracle. The role is providing financial support and insights to the North America Application Consulting organization. He/she will be a member of the finance team interface between Oracle Consulting Delivery, and Business Operations teams.As a member of Oracles finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results, preparation of annual budget.+ Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.+ Develop clear understanding of key business performance drivers and deliver value add analysis and reporting.+ Prepare recommendations based on analysis, may perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed.+ Build and maintain high-level knowledge across all business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business. Understand associated risks and opportunities.+ Assist with the financial presentations to the business and the preparation of quarterly reporting schedules. Provide periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting in support of executive management.+ Participate in quarterly closing process, in close coordination with global Finance colleagues.+ Prepare and review relevant financial analyses comparing actuals to forecasts and budgets.
