"Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. We work with all cloud services, consulting, support, and product teams at Oracle from developers to executives. We identify gaps in security assurance processes and influence and drive teams to ensure that effective and efficient security assurance best practices are being put in place as part of their intentional security cultures.*What you'll do:** You will work directly with Oracle teams who create, customize, and configure software for Oracle's customers to help them effectively and efficiently apply security assurance practices to the software they are designing, building, testing, and deploying and delivering.* You will ask effective probing questions about the security stance or practices of a service or product or project.* You will encourage teams that need encouragement, influence those that need influencing, prod those that need a nudge, and sometimes call teams on the carpet if all else fails.* You will explore innovative approaches to effective security assurance in fast-paced cloud environments.* You will create application security guidance when needed.* You may work closely with teams newly acquired by Oracle as they identify their security debt and remediate that debt.* You will work with individual developers, consultants, Lines of Business security teams, and executives.
