Job Description:
The Intelligence and Homeland Security Group of Leidos is seeking a Senior Data Developer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Bethesda MD or McLean, VA. An Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required to be considered for this position.
The candidate will support Government staff in the following:
Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.
Defines and oversees database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation.
Provides technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a data base environment.
Advises applications development staff and users on data-based solutions to business problems, data architectures, data base management system facilities and capabilities, and the operation and tuning of data bases.
Ensures economic and efficient availability of data within adequate safeguards.
Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
Uses data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases. Determines data storage and optimum storage requirements.
Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation.
Basic Qualifications
Requires Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required
Pay Range:
Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
